I received a text asking me to enable permissions on my tablet.

Our engineering team is asking driving partners to change settings on their tablets to ensure your device continues to operate properly and to enable new features for your tablet. Turning on these permissions will allow your tablet to run the latest and greatest Octopus content!

Please select your Octopus tablet model to find the correct steps for your device:

1. After the update is sent to your tablet, you will see the below. Select the 1 – Octopus Orchestrator Update (Tap Here) option:

2. After selecting 1 – Octopus Orchestrator Update (Tap Here), tap the toggle button to “Allow display over other apps.” Then tap the back button in the top left corner. You will be returned to the screen you saw immediately after the update.

3. Tap the back button again. You will see the below screen to “permit usage access.” Tap the toggle button to enable it. Tap the back arrow on the top left corner again.

4. Tap the back button again. You will see the below screen to “allow modifying system settings.” Tap the toggle button to enable it. Tap the back arrow on the top left corner again.

5. After tapping the back arrow, the Octopus app should immediately launch.

1. After the update is sent to your tablet, you will see the below screen. Tap the first toggle button for the 1 – Octopus Orchestrator Update (Tap Here) app. Then, tap the Back button at the bottom of the screen.

2. You will now see the Usage data access screen. Tap the toggle button for the 1 – Octopus Orchestrator Update (Tap Here) app. Then, tap the Back button at the bottom of the screen.
   
   Please Note: On certain devices, you may only see the 1 – Octopus Orchestrator Update (Tap Here) app listed, and not all apps. You can tap the toggle button for the 1 – Octopus Orchestrator Update (Tap Here) app as normal.

3. You will now see the Change system settings screen. Tap the toggle button for the 1 – Octopus Orchestrator Update (Tap Here) app. Then, tap the Back button at the bottom of the screen.

4. After tapping the back arrow, the Octopus app should immediately launch.
